Three Stones Zen Group has been meeting since 1997. We meet on Wednesdays at 7pm at the Friends Meeting House 1600 Fifth Street NW in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

We practice sitting & walking meditation, listen monthly to dharma talks, and conduct seasonal one-day retreats. We welcome people of all traditions and experience levels.

Zen in America wouldn't be what it is nor would I be writing this if it wasn't for Sunryu Suzuki who was founder of the San Francisco Zen Center and Tassajara Monastery. His pivotal book Zen Mind, Beginner's Mind is still, and rightly so, one of the most popular books around. Another teacher in the Soto Lineage.The biography of him Crooked Cucumber by David Chadwick is also highly recommended.
